As previously reported, NOFX frontman Fat Mike is taking a little time off from his regular cast of collaborators to present his punk rock musical, Home Street Home. The project, co-written with Soma Snakeoil and Tony Award winner Jeff Marx (Avenue Q), lands February 10 through Fat Wreck Chords, but a full stream has been unveiled online ahead of time.
Previously premiered portion "Seeping Beauty" detailed the self-mutilation of one of Home Street Home's characters, but the full album now gives insight onto the runaway's troubling family history, and her escape. It also presents portraits of various other punks, surviving in the streets with a bike chain employing-guitar strapped around their chests.
The musical features contributions from Lena Hall (Hedwig & the Angry Inch), Frank Turner, Matt Skiba, Stacy Dee and the late Tony Sly and more. You can hear them get theatrical down below.
