Ex-Black Wizard Guitarist Johnny De Courcy Announces Album with the Death Rangers

Since leaving Vancouver metal act Black Wizard, Johnny De Courcy has gone the troubadour route and released the solo EP Bad Teeth last year. Next up for the the songwriter is a self-titled full-length with his band the Death Rangers.

Due out November 22, Johnny De Courcy and the Death Rangers was largely recorded in Surrey, BC, with additional sessions and mixing taking place at Bully's Studios in New Westminster, BC. It was co-produced by De Courcy and Michael Kraushaar.

The 12-song collection features De Courcy backed by Mat Vass on bass and Phi Van on drums and percussion. Scroll past the tracklist to stream the laid-back "Lover's Kiss" and the more solemnly rocking "Has It Found You."

De Courcy and co. will celebrate the album's release with a show at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on November 22.
