Erykah Badu has once again shown some love to the OVO crew. Following last year's "Hotline Bling"-twisting "Cell U Lar Device," the R&B singer has offered up a new version of Partynextdoor and Drake's late night text anthem, "Come and See Me."
Badu's soft and silky redo has her matching Party's verses line by line, acting as a response to his request for a late night rendezvous. It's after 2 a.m., and she wants to know when the suitor will come out to her, for once. Parts of the original track are used in the remix, with Badu also adding a few vocal runs before song's end.
You can check out the newly configured "Come and See Badu" down below.
A mixtape titled THIS $h!t TOO EASY is expected sometime in the near future. The release follows last year's dialled-up But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape.
