Finally jumping on the golden opportunity birthed of his 2002 hit "Lose Yourself," Eminem is set to open a restaurant called Mom's Spaghetti in his hometown of Detroit, MI later this week.
Call it regurgitation or better late than never, the rapper has begun advertising his new business endeavour on a local television spot. The 30-second commercial premiered on Friday (September 24), featuring an animation of Eminem puking up a cartoon carton of the spaghetti as he looms over the Detroit skyline. Mmm, appetizing!

Mom's Spaghetti welcomes customers to its home-cooking starting this Wednesday (September 29) at 5 p.m. ET. Nobody's asking what's on the menu, but they're telling us anyway: road pasta for the game, meatballs and the s'ghetti sandwich.
The eatery, located on 2131 Woodward Avenue, will also include a shop called The Trailer — a "store for stans." Speaking of, Eminem's fans are obviously convinced that the opening of Mom's Spaghetti is the artist's way of cueing up the promotional cycle for the release of new music. Even the "it's all ready" tagline seems like a bit of a hint — what else is cooking?
The endlessly meme-able lyrics from the Oscar-winning 8 Mile theme have previously inspired a pop-up restaurant in 2017 — which the rapper opened right after releasing Revival.
Slim Shady also donated batches of the titular pasta to hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and Houston in 2017, as well as Detroit healthcare workers on the frontlines of the pandemic last year. Mom's Spaghetti likewise comes in partnership with Metro Detroit's restaurant group Union Joints.
Lose yourself in the commercial for the restaurant below.
Eminem surprised-dropped his most recent album Music to be Murdered By in 2020.
While you're in the neighbourhood, you can cross the Detroit River and get some pizza in Windsor, ON — which is apparently "just better." It was also recently announced that Eminem will star as White Boy Rick in 50 Cent's BMF TV show.
