We already knew rootsy unit Elliott Brood had a bunch of Canadian concerts coming up in 2016, but it's now been revealed that the act will be linking up with fellow folk dabblers Great Lake Swimmers for a series of co-headlining dates.
A press release confirms that the two acts will be travelling side-by-side in late March/early April for a tour of Newfoundland and Labrador. The trip finds Great Lake Swimmers and Elliott Brood hitting seven cities together.
As previously reported, Elliott Brood precede the joint dates with a series of West Coast tour stops. This particular leg has them travelling from Winnipeg through to Western Canada before bouncing back through the Prairies.
Great Lake Swimmers, meanwhile, have also announced they'll be hitting BC's Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival in August.

Elliott Brood's last LP was 2014's Work and Love, while Great Lake Swimmers' most recent album effort was 2015's A Forest of Arms.
