​Edmonton's Up + Downtown Music Festival Reveals Initial 2017 Lineup

The bill includes Wintersleep, DIIV, Dan Deacon, U.S. Girls, Cadence Weapon, Change of Heart, TUNS, Reverend Horton Heat and more

Up + Downtown Music Festival is slated to return to Edmonton for its fifth edition this fall, and organizers have lifted the curtain on the first batch of performers for this year's event.

Topping the bill are Wintersleep, DIIV, Dan Deacon, Reverend Horton Heat and U.S. Girls. They'll be joined by a host of talent from home and away that includes the following: Leif Vollebekk, Sister Nancy, Holy Fuck, Weaves, Tei Shi, Cadence Weapon, Julie & the Wrong Guys, Change of Heart, Agent Orange, Black Mastiff, Here Lies Man, TUNS, Molten Lava, GGOOLLDD, the Provincial Archive, Eamon McGrath, HILL, Napalmpom, Whitey Houston, Gary Debussy, Duotang, Louise Burns, Nuela Charles, Mad Bomber Society, Library Voices, Mitchmatic, Alan Cross and Lyra Brown. 

A press release notes that further artist announcements will be made in the coming weeks, while a full festival schedule will be revealed in late August.
