Drake's 'Certified Lover Boy' Cover Art Is Just a Bunch of Pregnant Woman Emojis

What a statement!

Well, it looks like Drake didn't end up beating Kanye West to the finish line in their little album release race, but with the news of his possibly fake nemesis' Donda rollout, the Toronto Lover Boy has stepped up today to remind fans that Certified Lover Boy is indeed on its way — and it's arriving with a truly bewildering album cover.

The official CLB cover art — seen below — is just a series of pregnant woman emojis, because, you know, that's what lover boys do with women, apparently. We've still yet to see a tracklisting, but fans won't have to wait long. The record is currently scheduled to arrive this Friday (September 3) via OVO and Republic, as previously revealed on ESPN's SportsCenter, and confirmed by Drake today.

All things considered — from the new album art to the SportsCenter announcement and Drizzy's faded fade — this rollout is one of the weirder ones we've seen in recent memory. Here's hoping Drake's and West's recent promotional strategies don't signal a larger trend for upcoming album cycles — Donda and CLB have been tiring enough on their own.

Certified Lover Boy marks the Toronto artist's full-length follow-up to 2018's Scorpion.
