As much as Drake is celebrated for his full-length studio efforts, he's also been hailed throughout his career for a series of singles and loosies that were shared well before streaming took its hold over listeners. Now, he's set to give some of that material a more official release.
The Canadian rapper will collect a number of the aforementioned drops for a release titled Care Package, which is set to arrive on all platforms tomorrow (August 2). Let's hope the upload speed of the wi-fi he's using is strong enough.
In announcing the collection on Instagram, Drake described the 17-song set as "some of our most important moments together available in one place."
Songs included were previously shared on Soundcloud, OVO Sound Radio broadcasts, included on physical album releases, and more. Care Package opens with "Dreams Money Can Buy," a song which Drake shared through his October's Very Own Blogspot in 2011, prior to releasing Take Care.
Also included are Nothing Was the Same bonus cut "The Motion," which features assistance from Sampha, and If You're Reading This It's Too Late-era bonus tracks "How Bout Now" and "Heat of the Moment."
Care Package also includes collaborations with J. Cole, Rick Ross and James Fauntleroy. The collection closes with "Can I," a collaboration with Beyoncé that was premiered on OVO Sound Radio in 2015.
Drake recently teamed up with Rick Ross for "Gold Roses," which followed the pair's "Money In the Grave" from earlier this year.
