Donald Glover's Childish Gambino to Drop 'Camp' LP This Fall

While chances are most people recognize comedian Donald Glover as Troy from NBC's college campus comedy Community, the guy has also been rapping under the nom de plume Childish Gambino for a few years now. In the past, he's delivered some EPs, including this year's free download Untitled, but now Glover's stepping up his game with the announcement of his full-length debut, Camp.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, the rapper confirmed that his next release will be issued by the Glassnote imprint, leaving him pumped to be on the same label as Mumford & Sons and Phoenix.

"The biggest compliment I can give the album right now is it's worthy of being on Glassnote," Glover said. "I love Glassnote's stuff, and he [owner Daniel Glass] was like, 'We can do anything with this album if the album's good.'"

Not much has been revealed about the album yet, save for its anticipated November 1 street date, but there could be some collabs in the works.

"I definitely reference them in this one song," he said of labelmates Mumford & Sons before sidestepping the details of Camp's guest list. "I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about it right now, but I've started collaborating with a bunch of artists."

More info is sure to come in the near future, maybe even before Community's season three premiere on September 22.
