Last year, country music legend Dolly Parton pledged to celebrate her 75th birthday back on the cover of Playboy. Now that the artist has reached her 75th year, she's following through on that promise — but as a special DIY birthday gift for her husband, Carl Thomas Dean.

In a new video, captioned "It's always #HotGirlSummer for my husband," the singer is seen in the magazine's iconic bunny suit, holding her original 1978 cover framed alongside a 2021 recreation of the image.

"Remember some time back I said I was gonna pose on Playboy magazine when I'm 75? Well, I'm 75 and they don't have a magazine anymore, but my husband always loved the original cover," she says in the clip.

Parton adds: "You think Playboy oughta pay me for at least the photoshoot? I do!"

The final issue of Playboy was released on March 17 last year.
