The Dismemberment Plan reappeared this year after a long hiatus to announce their Uncanney Valley LP, which is now being previewed with a new track called "Invisible."
The song certainly isn't as quirky as the funked-up first single, "Waiting," settling instead into a melodramatic strings loop and some nervous lines from Travis Morrison about a big move to New York. While he seems to blend in to his new surroundings (i.e., he's invisible), he manages to enjoy last calls and a steady stream of after-after parties, despite his loneliness.
You can hear his take on it all down below.
As previously reported, Uncanney Valley hits retailers October 15 through Partisan.
