Toronto's Dinosaur Bones seemed a bit nervous during their pre-Sloan set at the Paragon, but even with those jitters, they handled themselves well, despite a series of equipment failures. The room was attentive and excitable, but the majority of the band's smooth, moody songs brought the energy down a noticeable amount. It might have done them better to capitalize on the energy they exhibited during the last two songs of the set, but overall, the dynamic on stage was noticeably subdued compared to in the past. However, it's easy to chalk it up to circumstantial nerves.
