Desiigner's Felony Charges Dropped After Pills Identified as Steroids

Following news that Desiigner's drugs and weapons charges were dropped over the weekend, it's been reported that the drugs found in the New York SUV that the "Timmy Turner" rapper was riding in were actually steroids.

As previously reported, Desiigner had been brought in following a road rage incident on Thursday (September 8) that allegedly found him threatening the driver of another vehicle with a gun. When police arrived on the scene, they searched the SUV Desiigner had been in and said at the time that the console contained a stash of pills, including Oxycontin. The rapper was booked with charges that included possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

TMZ now reports that there were 302 pills total found in the vehicle, including steroids like methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone and Halotest Fluxymesteron separated into various Ziploc bags. Oxycontin was apparently not in there at all, nor were suspected methamphetamines. The felony intent to sell charge was dropped, though a misdemanour possession charge remains pending.

Online court filings confirmed that Desiigner's possession of a loaded weapon charge was also dropped, as a gun had not been found during the investigation. The charge was initially brought up based on what a witness told police. Desiigner does, however, still face a misdemeanour charge for menacing the other driver.

After being released after a court hearing on Saturday (September 10), Desiigner opted to celebrate with "Gucci Snakes" collaborator and fellow G.O.O.D. Music signee Tyga. They went on a shopping spree at —where else — a Gucci store. You'll find an Instagram vid from Desiigner made shortly after his release down below.
