Recognized as one of G.O.O.D. Music's latest recruits, rapper Desiigner was arrested in New York City last night (September 8) in a road rage incident that led to drug and weapons charges.
TMZ reports that the incident involved a driver and passengers in an SUV shouting at the driver of another vehicle. The driver of the other car called authorities, claiming that Desiigner had drawn a weapon and pointed it at him.
The SUV drove off, with the driver of the other vehicle taking its plate number down. Police found the vehicle a short time later and found a large quantity of loose pills upon searching the centre console, including Oxycontin and other drugs.
Desiigner and four other passengers were arrested, all five being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. The rapper was also charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing, stemming from allegedly pointing the gun at the other driver.
