Angel Deradoorian's last solo record was 2020's Find the Sun — she released a record alongside Kate NV last year as Decisive Pink — but now the former Dirty Projector is gearing up for another solo venture.
Today, we get a new sax-splattered single called "Digital Graveyard," which finds Deradoorian mining the darker side of her hypnotic psych-pop. The single marks Deradoorian's first single for Fire Records, and she'll release a new album in the spring of next year, though details on that are scarce.
On "Digital Graveyard," Deradoorian is assisted by jazz saxophonist Patrick Shiroishi, Meatbodies drummer Dylan Fujioka and guitarist Steve Marion (Delicate Steve).
