Long-time American death metallers Deceased are one of the best live metal bands on the planet. With singer King Fowley urging the troops on from behind his mammoth drum kit, the four members of Deceased live and breathe metal in a way most of us cannot even imagine. But Deceased has never really been able to recreate their impeccable live performances in a studio setting ¾ previous records have been under produced and lack the true ferocity the band is capable of. Until now. Supernatural Addiction is a classic metal record that defy categorisation. Recorded at home in Virginia, with long-time metal producer Simon Efemey (Paradise Lost, Amorphis), the record marks the first time this band has been accurately captured on tape. Blistering lead guitar solos courtesy of the twin lead guitars of Mike Smith and Mark Adams, which recall the best bands of yesteryear (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate) and if ever their was a nominee for best singing skin beater, then King Fowley has my vote over Exciter's Dan Beehler any day.
