One the only bands representing underground punk at M for Montreal, DD/MM/YYYY absolutely demolished with a furious, roaring set. The Toronto group are among the tightest, most powerful live bands anywhere, which is a good thing since their mathematically challenging arrangements require them to operate like a well-oiled machine. Fuelled by the pre-show discovery that their van was broken into - a disturbingly common initiation for bands visiting Montreal these days - DD/MM/YYYY channelled their rage into an eye-popping, heart-pounding show.
