Dave Mustaine's Gigantour 2013 Brings Out Megadeth, Black Label Society, Newsted

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 3, 2013

Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine is bringing back his Gigantour this summer, and like years past, he's tapped a ton of metal talent to fill out the package tour.

As can be expected, Megadeth will headline the trip, but a press release confirms that this year's Gigantour also features Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, Disturbed singer David Draiman's new project Device, Hellyeah, Newsted and Death Division.

The trek starts up July 3 in Gilford, NH, but there are a number of dates scheduled in Canada. The trip also brings the bands to year's Heavy MTL. You can see the details down below.

"This year's power-packed lineup is probably the best Gigantour yet, and we've had some pretty massive Gigantours over the years," Mustaine said in a statement. "Gigantour 2013 brings four of my favorite bands, each centered around a superstar. With Zakk (Wylde, BLA), David (Draiman), Vinnie (Paul, Hellyeah), and Jason (Newsted) there are going to be fans from Ozzy to Disturbed to Pantera to Metallica and everything that's metal in-between! Don't miss the metal festival of the summer!"
