Glenn Danzig has finally shared his long-awaited Elvis Presley covers album, Danzig Sings Elvis, and you can stream the entire effort below.
Sings Elvis finds the Misfits frontman covering 14 cuts from the King. Along with the previously shared "One Night," the album also includes Danzig's versions of "Baby Let's Play House," "Lonely Blue Boy" and more.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about Elvis's influence earlier this month, Danzig explained, "I don't have that screechy, high metal voice, so I gravitated more to that kind of vocal style, like bluesier stuff. I've been pretty vocal about my influences, like Elvis or Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, things like that. Yeah, the deeper voice always worked for me better."
Danzig had been planning a pair of all-Elvis shows that were set to take place in Los Angeles and San Francisco this month. Those shows have now been postponed. He wrapped a limited run of reunion dates with Misfits last year.
