Damon Albarn is back putting attention on his upcoming solo album The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows. Today that comes in the form of the newly shared track "Polaris."
As a press release explains, the song "addresses the guiding star needed for lives blown off course as so many have been during this last year." It also comes via a cinematic performance video, featuring the Blur/Gorillaz leader playing with a full live band and string quartet.
You can check out both the audio for "Polaris" and the video below. The song follows album's previously shared title track.
The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows arrives via Transgressive Records on November 12. The record will follow his 2014 solo record, Everyday Robots.
