Crocodiles

Crocodiles frontman Brandon Welchez's stage moves range from bratty to downright repugnant: his holding the mic like a penis in front of his crotch, mock-shoving a beer bottle up his ass, spitting and trying to knock a camera out of a photographer's hand with his mic stand might have scored more points were he not always trying so desperately to act sexy while he did it. Musically speaking, Crocodiles are no better off. The tastelessness of their singer is counterbalanced by the utter lack of flavour in the band's music; guitarist Charles Rowell played with such aloofness that it hardly qualified as playing, while the drummer and bassist plonked out only the very basics of what it means to be a rhythm section. Glammy without the requisite moves or tunefulness to make their act interesting, Crocodiles are memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.
