Craft

Terror Propaganda

BY Greg PrattPublished Aug 1, 2004

Utterly frightening cover art wraps its bad self around this slab of primal black metal. Hailing from Sweden, Craft’s "second black metal attack” is impressive in its disregard for anything to do with the frilly, watered-down black metal so painfully prevalent these days. Instead, it sounds like shit and it’s written like shit, which is entirely where its charm comes from. No hope for memorable songs, no hope for anything whatsoever really, Craft just plough forth, hating everything in their path, creating music as entertaining as it is tiring, and with as short of a shelf life as they have consideration for anything to do with any of our worthless existences. In other words, pretty cool stuff! And how about that "No future for democracy” shirt one of the Craft fellas is sporting? Oh, brother.
