Montreal's Corridor have shared plans to release a new full-length album titled Junior. It's set to arrive October 18 as the band's debut with Bonsound/Sub Pop.
Today, the band have also shared a music video for the album's first track "Topographe." The video is something right out of a Monty Python skit, with faceless beings churning around in a psychedelic fortress. The video is the fruit of the directorial efforts of the band's own Jonathan Robert.
On making the video for "Topographe," he had this to say:
While I've explored and mixed many different techniques in my past music videos, it's the first time that I took the process this far, blending all of them together in one place. It's a melting pot of stop motion, green screen, illustration, animation, collage, and live video. It's the visual equivalent of the progression of the song, a simple idea that takes amplitude through repetition.

Junior is Corridor's third full-length album, but their debut with Sub Pop. The band are no strangers to each other either. Robert and Dominic Berthiaume have been playing together since they were 14 years old.
