Their second Toronto gig since reforming in 2006 (having dissolved circa 1998) Georgia's unsung heroes of sludge, stoner, doom and experimental noise Harvey Milk took to the Wreck Room stage with little fanfare but many high hopes. Thankfully, all of those expectations were met as the band patiently raged forth with a strong retrospective of their almost 20-year saga. Naturally there was little engagement by way of visual activity - something near impossible when a band plays so slow and heavy, the songs threaten to start playing themselves backwards - but the sheer power of the band's audible massiveness more than made up for any lack of onstage activity.
