The icon hasn't been inducted despite seven decades worth of hits

Many women in music have made it widely known that they feel snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and now, Cher has added herself to that list.

Speaking with Kelly Clarkson on her talk show, the icon pointed out that she's the only solo act with a number-one hit across seven decades. After revealing that the Rolling Stones are the only other artist to achieve this milestone, she said, "It took four of them to be one of me," before snakily adding, "And I'm not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."

Clarkson was shocked by this revelation, to which Cher replied, "I'm not kidding you. I was about to say shitting you! You know what, I wouldn't be in it now if they gave me a million dollars."

When Clarkson asked if she'd ever change her mind, the singer interrupted by insisting: "I'm never going to change my mind. They can just go you-know-what themselves."

Cher also made it known that she changed music with 1998's "Believe," which is correct — modern use of AutoTune has her to thank!

Cher joins Courtney Love in voicing her dissatisfaction with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Dolly Parton attempted to drop off the 2022 awards' nominations list, but when she was inducted anyway, she accepted "gracefully."

Last year, Missy Elliott, Sheryl Crow and Kate Bush were among the inductees — the latter of whom is still waiting to learn the Hall of Fame's secret handshake
