Pride comes but once a year, and — especially in light of the current political climate — it's always a cause for celebration. That sentiment's just become even more true this year, as Charli XCX has shared that she and Robyn have been in the studio together (pause for collective gay gasp).
Charli's succinct tweet — "me and robyn been making songs in the studio. happy pride ;)" — is basically the only info we have on the situation, but it's cause for excitement regardless, as is the plural "songs." Will it be an EP? A full-length album? One single and a bunch of outtakes? Only time will tell.
Charli's last record was last year's CRASH, while Robyn hasn't released a full-length since 2018's Honey. In April, it was announced that Charli would be making her feature film debut in a remake of John Alan Schwartz's 1978 cult horror film Faces of Death.
See Charli's tweet below.
