If you were wondering why Chance the Rapper is set to appear on SNL as an actor and not a musical artist, the answer should be clear — he's an actor now. After all, the beloved performer will star in a new horror film called Slice.
The movie was directed by Austin Vesely, who previously helmed Chance's videos for "Sunday Candy" and "Angels." It follows a pizza delivery guy who is murdered on the job.
In addition to Chance, the film stars Zazie Beetz, Paul Scheer and Will Brill. It was produced by A24, the same people behind Good Time, The Disaster Artist, Green Room, Ex Machina, Under the Skin and, well, just about every other good movie from the last few years.
Watch a teaser trailer for Slice below. The film will arrive in 2018.
