Though Casey Veggies has delivered a series of singles and mixtapes over the years, the Inglewood, CA rapper has now revealed he's set to plate his first major label studio platter. Titled Live & Grow, the record is due out August 7 through Roc Nation/Epic Records.
Though the album title had been floating around for a while, official news of the album's ETA came yesterday (June 16) through a Roc Nation tweet and Veggies' own social media channels.
While the album will arrive in August, it's unclear what will be on the tracklist. Recent tracks from the onetime Odd Future member include "Tied Up" with Dej Loaf and last year's "Backflip" collaboration with Iamsu!
Though Live & Grow is Veggies first proper LP, it follows a number of freelease projects. His last solo mixtape was 2013's Life Changes, but he teamed up with Chicago rhymer Rockie Fresh later in the year to deliver the Puma-backed Fresh Veggies.
UPDATE: The album is now due out September 25. You can see its cover at the bottom of the page.
