Caroline Polachek's "Bunny Is a Rider" — the lead single (though we didn't know it at the time) from this year's Desire, I Want to Turn iIto You — was released two years ago today, and in celebration, Polachek has shared three remixes of the song by Doss, Sega Bodega and Nikki Nair.
All three remixes bring something new to the song; Nair increases the bpm and sends it through an 8-bit kaleidoscope, while Doss brings her strange kinetic majesty to the thing. Sega Bodega's reimagining gets spacious and steady, grounding Polachek's bouncy original before sending it away on a slowly diffusing outro.
Desire, I Want to Turn into You was named Exclaim's favourite album of the year so far, and we chatted with Polachek about the album back in April.
