Blue Rodeo Celebrate 25th Anniversary with Canadian Winter Tour
Published Oct 29, 2012Blue Rodeo released their debut album, Outskirts, way back in 1987. That means that next year will mark the band's 25th anniversary, and the long-running Canuck country rockers will celebrate the milestone by hitting the road in their home and native land.
The 2013 trek will launch in early January in the Yukon and wrap up in mid-February in Ontario. In that time, the group will travel from coast to coast and play a currently-confirmed 28 shows. The schedule includes shows in all three territories and eight of the 10 provinces (only New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are omitted). One more city will apparently be added to the jaunt. See the itinerary below.
This anniversary tour comes hot on the heels of the eight-disc box set Blue Rodeo: 1987-1993, which arrived earlier this month through Warner Music.
