While we're slowly working on compiling our favourite beefs of the year, Lil Kim decided to pop up with what could be the last great diss of 2010 by dropping some cruel verses on Nicki Minaj.
The two female rappers have been feuding for some time, beginning with some comments from Kim at some New York concert appearances. Responding to Minaj's wig on the cover of Vibe, Kim said, "Y'all know who this is, I love starting trends... I'm going to another level. I love the wigs and everything but I'm so above them."
Then, earlier this month, Kim dissed Minaj onstage again, saying, "I got more love from Queens than this bitch do! I will erase this bitch's social security number. First of all, I don't even need a record right now, I'll kill that bitch with my old shit!"
Minaj kept mum about the whole thing for a while until releasing her Pink Friday standout "Roman's Revenge," where she roars, "Word, that bitch mad 'cause I took the spot? Well, bitch, if you ain't shitting, then get off the pot / Got some niggas out in Brooklyn that'll off your top."
She also opened up to the Wendy Williams Show, saying, "You're gonna go down in history now as a sore loser as opposed to going down in history as the queen. Because if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."
Those sentiments clearly didn't sit well with Lil Kim, who recently leaked snippets of a new diss track called "Black Friday." The track is full of tags and very low-quality, but it does include choice lines like "I'm turning Pink Friday into Friday the 13th" and "We all know your last name / what got you your job / You a put together gimmick / something like a collage." Also, she calls her a "Lil Kim clone clown."
