After bursting onto the scene with their debut album in mid-2019, Toronto jazz-funk troupe Badge Époque Ensemble have announced plans for a new record, Self Help, which is due to arrive November 20 via Telephone Explosion.

Recorded live at Toronto's Palace Sound studio before lockdown began, Self Help promises to be "an exploratory record that dances across time and genre, guided by fidgety miniatures and jazz-inflected collage."

Featuring a number of guest vocalists including Meg Remy of U.S. Girls, Dorothea Paas, James Baley and Jennifer Castle, the record marks BÉE's third release in two years.

Today, the newly minted seven-piece band (now joined by saxophonist Karen Ng) have shared the first taste of the forthcoming record, in Meg Remy and Paas's collaborative "Sing a Silent Gospel." The song arrives alongside a video compiled by Remy from original Super 8 footage.

2. Unity (It's Up to You)
