Azealia Banks

"Aquababe" (prod. Machinedrum)

Azealia Banks recently renamed her upcoming summer mixtape Fantasea, and now she has fittingly offered up a new wet and wild club cut called "Aquababe," which has been produced by Machinedrum.

Interestingly, the song starts up with an old-school beat and some lupine howls before bassy tremors erupt through speakers like an undersea volcano. Surrounded by similarly watery kitchen sink drips, Banks calls out phony mermaids, and talks about dipping through the waves with some "cinnamon gentleman." Something about that visual makes us think that party is going to get extra soggy, though.

You can stream and/or download "Aquababe" in the player below.

Fantasea is due out July 4.
