Aphex Twin to Release New 12-inch

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 5, 2015

After breaking his lengthy silence with last year's Syro, the floodgates have opened for Aphex Twin, who continues to release more material. The IDM legend recently shared his Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt2 EP, and may have been leaking songs onto SoundCloud. Now, he's announced plans for a new 12-inch.

As FACT reports, Richard D. James is planning to release a new Aphex Twin 12-inch next month.

The release kicks off with "MARCHROMT30a Edit 2b 96," a song that mega-fans will know as a bonus song on the Japanese release of Syro.

On the B-side, the record includes alternate versions of the previously released Syro track "XMAS_EVET10 [120] (thanaton3 mix)" and "MARCHROMT."

Aphex Twin will issue the new 12-inch on April 7.
