Alexisonfire returned with a couple of singles last year, and now they've dropped another one. "Season of the Flood" is available to stream now.

The song premiered on BBC Radio 1's Rock Show with Daniel P Carterand a private YouTube stream has emerged [via Theprp.com]. It highlights Alexisonfire's soft side, with slowburning tempos that crescendo amidst chiming arpeggios and Dallas Green's angelic croon. It's not until the back half of the epic seven-minute track that things go in a heavy, post-hardcore direction.

Listen to "Season of the Flood" below.

"Season of the Flood" follows last year's singles "Familiar Drugs" and "Complicit." The band will be touring later this month.

During last year's City and Colour Exclaim! cover story, Dallas Green commented on the Alexisonfire reunion, saying, "I think we've found our way back to one another in a way where we can use it as therapy. We've got it to the point where there's almost no pressure or stress on us, it's just this ball of energy and fun."

A pre-order page lists "Season of the Flood" officially arriving on Tuesday (January 14).
