City and Colour, the beloved solo project of Alexisonfire's Dallas Green, will celebrate 20 years since the release of debut album Sometimes with a special 20th anniversary show in Toronto.
Green will perform the album — which was released in 2005 via Dine Alone Records — in its entirety solo on June 20 at Budweiser Stage, followed by another set.
This celebration was originally planned to be held for the LP's 15th anniversary in 2020, but was long-delayed due to the pandemic. According to a press release, the concert will mark the singer-songwriter's 12th time performing at the venue — the most for any Canadian artist, with the exception of Blue Rodeo and OVO Festival.
"Thank you to everyone who has ever listened. This record became yours a long time ago," Green wrote in an Instagram post announcing the show. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (January 31), with presales beginning tomorrow (January 28) at 10 a.m. ET with the code "SOMETIMES."
