Aleks and the Drummer

This Chicago pair ended up being a more than pleasant surprise. Aleks Tomaszewska’s voice – amazingly strong yet still ultra feminine – and Deric Criss drumming went beyond the usual hollow-sound of a two-piece. Criss deserves more of a title than just "the drummer.” I never thought I’d utter these words, but I wanted to hear the man play a drum solo.
