We're still a ways off from the July 10 release of Aesop Rock's Skelethon, but the alternative hip-hop vet has just dropped a new vid for album track "Zero Dark Thirty."
Aesop casually spits atop the glitch key samples and heavy boom bap seated in front of a blank canvas, though a stop-motion painting session eventually surrounds the rhymer with a flurry of images. At one point spray-painted profiles of a murder of crows loom menacingly above the rapper, but the clip gets even more unsettling after a crew of skeletons pops by to party.
Check it out below.
As previously reported, Skelethon arrives through Rhymesayers.
