Wes Anderson's 'The French Dispatch' Has a New Release Date

The film is now finally set to arrive this fall

Wes Anderson's next film The French Dispatch was perpetually postponed throughout the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the movie now seems to have another proper release date. 

After seemingly endless delays, the film is set to premiere at Cannes in July and later the New York Film Festival this fall before receiving a wide release in theatres on October 22. 

As previously reported, the films stars include Bill MurrayOwen WilsonAdrien Brody, Benicio Del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormandTimothée Chalamet, Jeffrey Wright, Stephen Park, Lyna Khoudri, Mathieu Amalric, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Lois Smith, Saoirse Ronan, Christoph Waltz, Cecile De France, Guillaume Gallienne, Jason Schwartzman, Tony Revolori, Rupert Friend, Henry Winkler, Bob Balaban, Hippolyte Girardot and Anjelica Huston.
