Britney Spears' conservatorship saga was kicked into high gear earlier this year by Hulu's documentary Framing Britney Spears. A lot has happened since then, and now there's going to be another documentary. Netflix has just released the trailer for the Erin Lee Carr-directed Britney vs. Spears, which will arrive on the streaming platform on September 28.
The trailer features snippets of Spears' voice, as well as interview footage with various lawyers, investigators, and others close to the case. In one clip, Spears can be heard telling a judge, "I just want my life back."
Earlier this month, Britney's father Jamie Spears filed to end his daughter's conservatorship, following similar filings that Britney made herself in July. Today, as reported by TMZ and The New York Times, Britney's lawyers have filed documents in an effort to end the conservatorship as early as this fall.
On September 14, Britney deactivated her highly-active Instagram account in what was apparently a celebration of the progress being made in her case. However, she has recently returned to the social media site.
