Rob McElhenney and co. are set to return with the second season of Mythic Quest early next month, and today we're getting a preview of what's to come with a brand new official trailer.
In Season 2, Mythic Quest will see guest-starring roles from Snoop Dogg and Drunk History creator Derek Waters, alongside the returning cast of Charlotte Nicdao, F. Murray Abraham, Imani Hakim, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch and Jessie Ennis.
For the unfamiliar, Mythic Quest features McElhenney as a fictional gaming company's creative director who's in midst of creating some kind of World of Warcraft-like hit. But by the looks of things, McElhenney's character comes with quite the wild ego, leading to some seriously wild workplace situations. The series was renewed for a second season last year before Season 1 even aired.
In addition to McElhenney, Mythic Quest was created by It's Always Sunny's Charlie Day and Megan Ganz
Season 2 will arrive on May 7 following the release of the series' Anthony Hopkins-guest starring "post-pandemic" special, which is set to air this Friday (April 16) on Apple TV+.
