If you're ready for a big, stupid (potential) blockbuster that doubles as a vehicle for Oscar-nominated tall person Adam Driver, then today is your day. Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for 65, a sci-fi action flick that features Driver as an alien (or human from another planet maybe? Is that still an alien?) who crash lands on Earth circa 65 million years ago and is forced to battle dinosaurs.
That sounds stupid! It also sounds potentially fun, though the trailer mostly features a distressed Driver and his companion (played by Ariana Greenblatt) as they traverse shadowy forests and various damp locales.
The film's logline reads: "Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive."
The film was written, directed and produced by A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. Check out the trailer below.
