The world of Twin Peaks has been popping up a lot lately with both good and bad news. Though they were recently dealt a blow with the passing of Catherine E. Coulson (better known as the Log Lady), the new season of the show is soldiering on. Now, the world of the original Twin Peaks can be revisited with a new videogame.
The game is called Fire Dance with Me, and was designed for the Duplicade competition, which requires its contestants to create games that utilize only the traditional arrow keys and WASD on the keyboard.
The result is a game that perfectly reenacts the Twin Peaks dancing scenes in the Black Lodge, though with an uptempo feel. The gameplay is extremely similar to Dance Dance Revolution, and the accompanying music is ramped up with a dance remix. It all sounds a little weird when paired with Leland Palmer's endless crying.
