Last year, the cast of Michael Schur's Parks and Recreation got back together and sparked the possibility of an actual reunion show in the process. Flash forward to this year, and they've decided to join forces for a 30-minute special to help battle the coronavirus pandemic.

On April 30, A Parks and Recreation Special will air on NBC. The show will mark the return of Pawnee's favourite residents, including Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope, Rashida Jones's Ann Perkins, Aziz Ansari's Tom Haverford, Nick Offerman's Ron Swanson, Aubrey Plaza's April Ludgate, Chris Pratt's Andy Dwyer, Adam Scott's Ben Wyatt, Rob Lowe's Chris Traeger, Retta's Donna Meagle and Jim O'Heir's Gary "Jerry Larry" Gergich.

"Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money," executive producer Michael Schur said in a statement. "I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!"

Funds from the show will be donated to Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund. You can watch a teaser announcing the special below.
