The HAIM sisters are no strangers to a lil' Hanukkah ditty — last year they put a Jewish spin on the Waitresses' 1981 holiday song "Christmas Wrapping" — and this year, the trio have shared a modernized version of Adam Sandler's classic "The Chanukah Song."
The new HAIM version features an updated list of Jewish celebrities including Maya Rudolph, Doja Cat, the Dessner twins, Japanese Breakfast, Rashida and Kidada Jones, Timothée Chalamet and Schitts Creek's Dan and Eugene Levy.
A lyrical sampling goes, "Guess who eats together at the famous Canter's Deli? Rashida and Kidada Jones, Eugene and Dan Levy." They also include a shoutout to the Omicron variant, because COVID has tainted everything, calling it "Omicronukkah."
