'SNL' Hires Alec Baldwin to Play Donald Trump

With all of the ridiculousness that is the American presidential election, it's safe to say that this season of Saturday Night Live is going to be yuuuge. While Darrell Hammond has always played Donald Trump on the show, NBC has dug up another man to fill the role in one Alec Baldwin.

Baldwin will don a bright orange wig and annoying pout to take on the presidential nominee for the show's 42nd season, and come to think of it he's perfect for the part. After all, he already played a sinister business tyrant when he starred in 30 Rock.

Watch Alec turn into the Donald via a behind-the-scenes video below.

Saturday Night Live returns on October 1.
