Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was recently interviewed on YouTube channel Sofa King Cool. It was interesting!

During the half-hour interview, Scantlin talked about his history with COVID-19, saying that he "totally believe[s] that [he's] contracted the virus two or three times," and also discussed the fact that he's been trying to get Limp Bizkit frontman and dad-vibes aficionado Fred Durst to help him make a movie about his life.

"I'm desperately trying to get Fred Durst to get involved, and we can do some kind of a little movie or something," he said. "A lot of dreams came true in a lot of our lives — even Korn and Staind and Limp Bizkit, and Puddle of Mudd. It would be a great little movie."

The singer also said he's currently sitting on 75 new songs, and that he can write music in any genre. After being prompted by the interviewer to do a freestyle rap, Scantlin came up with this gem: "Easily I approach / The microphone / Because I ain't joke / Tell your mama to get off of my chip [?] / I got no time to give her my d**k [?]." Very cool!

He covers plenty more ground in the 32-minute interview, and you can give it a listen for yourself below.
