Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin Arrested (Again) for Trespassing at Former Los Angeles Home

He allegedly camped out in the driveway and threatened the current homeowner's housekeeper

Puddle of Mudd bandleader and strong proponent of not letting women keep you from going to bed at a decent hour, Wes Scantlin, has reportedly been arrested for trespassing at his former Los Angeles home.

Earlier this week, TikTok user @annmcferran posted a video that sees a black Hummer (with a dashboard littered in tickets) parked in her driveway. While it's too dark to confirm that the man sitting inside is, in fact, Scantlin, the same vehicle was attributed to him in a 2013 hit-and-run. In the clip, McFerran can be heard saying, "Okay, there's some random-ass dude on my driveway right now. Um, sir? Why are you parked on my driveway? That's really weird."

The text overlay reads: "When you walk down your driveway to catch an Uber and find a stranger camped outside and realize it's a famous rock singer who had his house foreclosed on (and has been arrested several times before) and was coming back to claim the house so you have to call the police because he begins threatening the maid you hired and then gets arrested because turns out he had an active order against him."

Scantlin has another trespassing charge from 2016 related to an incident at the same house, which he had bought for $1.7 million USD in 2005 but lost to foreclosure about 10 years afterwards. That incident allegedly saw the musician rip an alarm system from the wall and damage the garage door.

As per the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Inmate Information Center, Scantlin was taken into custody at 12:33 p.m. PST on Monday (February 20), then released on $1,000 bail. A court date has been set for March 13.
