Just over two years ago, we learned that at least one of Josh and Benny Safdie had teamed with Nathan Fielder for a forthcoming Showtime series called The Curse, and some further collaborators on the production have now been revealed.
On Instagram yesterday (January 17), Daniel Lopatin — the artist and producer known best as Oneohtrix Point Never — shared a shot of himself in-studio with Fielder, Benny Safdie, producer/engineer Randall Dunn and jazz keyboardist John Medeski of fusion trio Medeski Martin and Wood.
Lopatin writes in the caption, "Let's face it tv stinks! not anymore folks meet a few of the hot hunks bringing you "THE CURSE" @showtime sometime sooner than later."
Lopatin's work on The Curse would continue his fruitful creative partnership with the Safdies, which has led to the artist soundtracking films like Good Time and Uncut Gems.
As for The Curse, few new details have emerged since its 2020 billing as a "genre-bending" sitcom that sees Fielder and Emma Stone play a newly married couple trying to conceive a child while also working on an HGTV series.
