The first half of the fourth season of Netflix's smash sci-fi horror hit Stranger Things is set to premiere on May 27 — with Part 2 arriving July 1— but something's already stirring on the show's official YouTube page.
"STRANGER THINGS 4 | TRAILER DROP COUNTDOWN," a new livestream video posted to the account, shows a grandfather clock — counting down to April 12, 10 a.m. ET — being investigated by scientists in the middle of Santa Monica, CA.
What will be revealed in the trailer? A casting announcement? The literal end of the universe? Also, what the heck is a Creel clock?
Well, to answer the last question, it's named after new character Victor Creel, played by horror movie legend Robert Englund. The clock was also a primary focus of the series' recent "Creel House" teaser (which you can watch here) but further details are scant.
As for what we can expect from tomorrow's drop is anyone's guess. Watch the stream below and try to figure it out for yourself.
